Who Produces Cafe Creme, and the Signature Rename
Cafe Creme was launched in 1963 by Henri Wintermans Cigars B.V., founded at Duizel in 1904 and part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group since 1996. The name is the French term café crème, coffee with cream. France banned the name under its public-health code from February 2018.

Cafe Creme is produced by Henri Wintermans, owned by Scandinavian Tobacco Group since 1996. Production sat in the Netherlands for much of the brand’s history; in 2021 the group closed its Eersel and Duizel plants and moved the work to its remaining sites, including Lummen in Belgium.
Scandinavian Tobacco Group announced in October 2018 that the brand would be sold as Signature in the United Kingdom and selected European markets, with renamed packs from February 2019. The change is to the name on the pack; elsewhere the brand is still sold under the original name, as in the packs listed in this store.
