Who Makes Marengo Cigarettes
Marengo is made by Tutun-CTC S.A., the largest tobacco factory in Moldova, at 116 Ismail Street in Chisinau. The plant descends from a cigarette-filling workshop opened in 1924 and has operated as a joint-stock company since 1998. In January 2019 the Moldovan state sold a 90.81 percent stake to Le Bridge Corporation Limited, a Moldovan distribution company registered in 1998.
Marengo was introduced in 2009. Since December 2023 the plant has also produced Marlboro under contract for Philip Morris International, with Bond Street, Chesterfield and L&M following in 2024.
