In Greece the brand was produced and distributed by Papastratos S.A.; the European Commission’s 2003 merger decision lists President in the portfolio acquired by Philip Morris International that year. No single company makes the brand everywhere: Papastratos S.A. produced and distributed it in Greece, and Eastern Company manufactures it in Egypt. Philip Morris International acquired the Greek portfolio, President included, in 2003.
