Compact is a manufacturer’s format name rather than an international standard, which is why it turns up across unrelated brands and why the dimensions behind it are not fixed. In this catalogue Compact products run to roughly 72 mm, some 11 mm short of King Size, at close to standard diameter, in a pack scaled down to match the rod. Other makers sell the same idea as Demi or Short. Since the naming is not standardised, the length and diameter printed on each product page are the figures to rely on.
