Black Stone Vanilla is a filtered little cigar format supplied as 10 sealed packs of 20, totalling 200 cigarillos. The filler is a pipe tobacco mix of Virginia leaf, Burley leaf, and Cavendish-processed tobacco, enclosed in a homogenized tobacco leaf (HTL) sheet that functions as both binder and outer wrapper. A cellulose acetate filter is fitted at the drawing end, distinguishing this variant from the plastic-tipped, non-filtered cigarillo configuration.

The Virginia leaf is flue-cured and the Burley leaf is air-cured; both are combined with Cavendish-processed tobacco that has been cased, pressed, steam-heated, and sliced into a ribbon cut. The vanilla characterizing flavour is introduced through a top dressing applied to the cut filler before rolling, applied separately from the casing used during the Cavendish stage.

The homogenized tobacco leaf wrapper is a reconstituted sheet formed from tobacco powder bound with a cellulose-based adhesive and produced in continuous rolls for machine application. This construction is standard to the little cigar format and replaces the whole-leaf wrapper and binder materials used in hand-rolled cigars.
